Hi-Score Technologies (Pty) Ltd (registration 2026/787645/07) is the responsible party for your personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Our information officer is Rebecca Rodseth, reachable at privacy@hi-score.co.za.

• Your cellphone number.
• Your email address, if you choose to give it.
• The exact consent wording you agreed to, and when.

We don’t ask for your ID number, address or banking details on the waitlist.

Only to tell you when Hi-Score launches and to send launch news, because you asked us to. We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t share it for anyone else’s marketing.

The waitlist is stored on servers in South Africa, encrypted and with access limited to the people who run Hi-Score. Our website host may keep short-lived technical logs outside South Africa under contract terms that protect them. We delete waitlist entries 12 months after launch, or sooner if you ask.

Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to keep bots out. It checks your browser without tracking you across other websites.

To keep the board fair, a ranked attempt sends us your taps: when each one happened, where on the screen, how long your finger stayed down, the size and pressure of the touch your phone reports, and whether your browser says it is being controlled by software. We use these only to score your attempt and to spot play a person can’t produce.

An attempt that looks unusual is held for a person to review. No attempt is rejected and no account is closed by a computer alone. We clear the tap details 12 months after the attempt and keep the score as the league record.

• Ask us to correct or delete it.
• Stop launch news at any time by replying STOP or emailing us.
• Complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.
